Hello! This is my first topic as a member on this site. My name is Lindsay, I am a pre-nursing student in Southern California, preparing to apply to nursing schools this upcoming fall. I have learned that nursing schools out here require a TEAS entrance exam score in order to apply. I already went ahead and signed up to take the TEAS version V at SDSU later this August. After doing some research, I learned that a new version of the TEAS will be replacing the TEAS V as of August 31st. The tests differ in many ways, one of them being that the newer version allows a calculator for the math portion, while the TEAS V does not. I am worried that I made the wrong choice signing up for the TEAS V, unless the newer version is predicted to be more difficult.
Sorry for rambling, I am just a little lost and looking for guidance advising me on what the best choice/version is for taking this vital entrance exam. I am looking at both UC and CSU schools this fall.
Any advice is appreciated, Thank you for your time!

What it really comes down to is which does your school require? No point in wasting your time on V if the school is going to require VI and vice versa.
