Can anyone give some tips to do well on the TEAS exam? Study books to order or online programs, etc. Thanks!

I used Kaplan's ATI TEAS Strategies, Practice, & Review. It has a practice test in the book and also one online. I found it to be extremely helpful; it breaks down every section well (in my opinion) and the questions were very similar to the actual TEAS exam. I'm not sure of the cost, I actually got it as a Christmas present haha. Good luck! As long as you study hard, the test isn't too bad. ?

I bought the official ATI TEAS book. It served me well.

I am probably an outlier, but I didn't study or buy any prep and still got an advanced score. What helped me most was that the material was fresh in my mind as I had taken the relevant A&P courses in the most recent semester. I did not find the math to be difficult at all and math is hands down my worst subject. I googled "free online TEAS tests" and took some different online ones to get a feel for the format of the exam and what I could expect. I was advised to finish my A&P sequence before the exam and I am glad I did!

I definitely had to study, when I first started looking at the practice questions I was getting somewhere around 70% correct. I then read the ATI TEAS manual and then bought the online ATI Study guide with the practice tests, which was expensive but it was so worth it! I ended up getting 93% on the TEAS which I was happy with.

I studied for about 1 month and got 88% on the first try. I would recommend purchasing the practice exams at ATI testing website on top of all the books that people mentioned in the previous post. The formats are basically the same so you know what you are dealing with here. I would say to put most efforts on A&P for sure. I got some really detailed questions that I still could not find answers now lol. I think the most important thing is to relax during the test. It made a huge difference. I treated the reading session as if I am reading random articles in my leisure time. I feel that the time wasn't really a constraint for me. I read slowly and I still had about 5-10 minutes to spare. I did not rush into other sessions but went back to look through all the questions. Good luck!

I spent the money on the ATI smart prep package and got an advanced score. I don't know that it was necessary to spend that much money on practice for the teas but the questions were formatted VERY similarly. It helped for sure and I am confident I will be accepted into the program. I agree with @evalo123 relaxing its important in keeping your mind clear and on track. Watch the timer! I didn't know that they sections were times and almost ran out on the first section (reading) portion.
