Does anyone out there know the difference between the TEAS test 4.0 and 5.0?

TEAS 5.0 is known as TEAS V (they changed the version indicator from real numbers to Roman numerals, no idea why!). The main difference I have noticed between TEAS 4.0 and V is a revamping of number of questions in each section. More noticeably, the science section had an inordinate amount of questions involving earth science in the 4.0 version, while the new version is more in line with biology and chemistry.
Thanks! Do you know if the reading/math or grammer has changed too? I heard the V is alot harder have you hear that too?
Well, I only took TEAS V so I don't have personal experience comparing the two. The info I shared above about 4.0 is what I have read from others here. If you want to do well on either test, I recommend getting the TEAS manual that is specific to the test you're taking. Don't use the 4.0 manual to study for V and vice versa. I had the 4.0 manual when I was going to take the test a year ago and I ended up not taking the test until last month which by then had gone to version V and I bought the new manual. So I have in fact looked at both manuals and I do know they are differently focused, though I no longer have either as I have since sold them on eBay. A lot of people say that version V is harder, but I honestly did not find it that difficult. I was scoring 77 to 81 on the practice tests and on the real test I scored over 90. So hmmm ... it's really all relative.
