TEAS test?!

Hi everyone! I just took the TEAS test on Sept. 12 (last Friday). How long does it take to post my results online? Does it usually take a week?

I took the TEAS 9/13 and got my results instantly. They printed me a copy and kept a copy for the school. Maybe you should give your school a call and see what the deal is.

Thanks, stacygirl!

If you don't mind me asking, did you take the test on paper or did you take it on a computer? Maybe you got your results faster if you did it on computer...

I took the paper/pencil version and ATI had my scores up about 48 hours later (excluding weekends). Hope you did great!

Really? Oh man...what is going on? I asked someone who took the test with me when the results would be up and she said that the instructor said it should be up within a week. Ahhh...the wait is killing me! I hope I can check my results by Friday.

I just checked my score right now. I got a 78% :scrying: I'm not quite happy with my score because of my GPA. I was hoping that I'd get a higher score to make up for it. I'm just bummed right now, and I'm not too confident that I'll do better on the next TEAS test that I take...or if I should even take it again.

was the science portion hard?

No, not really. There was only 3 questions about a&p, and the rest were about general science (the rock cycle and the hydrolic cycle-i recommend studying that section from the study guide and NOT skipping it), and chemistry. They mostly asked questions about how one should conduct experiments. I also thought they would ask a lot of questions about biology...like meiosis and mitosis, but they didn't.

If I were you I would take it again... I have taken the test 4 times now and still haven't gotten better than a 85.9%, but each time I have taken it I have uped my score by around 4%. The first 3 that I took were all exactly the same so it made it easier to get a higher score, however the last time I took it they had completely changed the way the test was and I lowered my score by 3%......... ;( So, getting a low score the first time around isnt uncommon. I would take it again and focus on the areas you did bad on and go from there. The first time I took the test I got like a 75% but the third time I took it I raised it to a 85.9% so take it again! Plus, I don't know where you are appyling but a lot of schools use that test as another factor for getting in. I apllied to a few schools last semester and even with a 4.0, work experience, and a 85.9% on the TEAS it still wasnt enough.

thanks, civic ex 099!

i've been thinking about my test score ever since i checked it earlier today and i kept telling myself that i should take it over, and that i shouldn't be so hard on myself because it was my first time. i reminded myself of the ept/elm tests that i had to take at my school in order to be placed into the correct math/english classes. i took it twice, which improved my score also. although it doesn't have the same importance as the TEAS test...it was another test that i wanted to do well on as well. thanks for the encouraging words! hopefully i can do better the second time around.
