Hello ! I'm trying to apply to community colleges around LA for spring 2016. One week I decided upon registering for the TEAS in csula as I have been studying for it. I saw the dates 7/25 and 8/22... Though I was notified about being able to take it for free at my community college of attendance..
Because the deadlines differ amongst the cc's i thought 7/25 would be a perfect date. I check two weeks before the date & it says its SOLD OUT! I was furious and thought well theres one cc off my list now! There was no way either I could have signed up.. So I insisted on waiting for one of the first community colleges deadline in order to be invited to take it at their campus.... Until I checked today (7/19)... its available for registration again on the ATI testing website!!! How even ?! Is it just me or do I slightly have a right to be even more furious because it ruined my plans in a sense.?? Thoughts ???

I don't understand the end of your post. The 7/25 date is available again to pay for or the CC is available? Or are none available? Please clear up what exactly you are upset about and you may get a better response.
The 7/25 date is for csula as I mentioned it before. It was sold out & now it's open again.
cc's offer it too so it was my back up plan to take it there. But what I originally planned was to take it in csula so I would've sent all my scores to all the cc's. For example Pasadena college deadline was August 1. They allowed me to show proof if I had taken it before that date. I wanted to take it this Saturday 7/25 to still be eligible. I apologize for the confusion. I just wished I knew it can be sold out & open againx
I guess I'm not understanding why it being reopened is so bad. Some people probably rescheduled for whatever reason or they opened another testing site or something. Do you not have the money now to pay in such short notice? It is it too short notice to apply with pending results? I understand being mad if you have now passed an application deadline, but if it's not too late then take the tat on the 25th and get the ball rolling.

Why did you wait until the last possible minute to take it? You do realize CA is a very heavily impacted state? I also don't get why it being reopened is a big deal. Someone rescheduled. Therefore, that opens up a spot. Be thankful you don't have to pay for it. Also, what are you going to do if you bomb it? When I did mine, I left a few months in between that and applying just in case. There is usually a 30 day waiting period in between tests. The only person to be angry with is yourself here. It's not a conspiracy the colleges have against you. Other people prepared themselves better and scheduled before you.

Plan ahead. I had to wait 60 days to retake the TEAS. It seems the closer to the application deadlines, the more people are trying to rush to take the TEAS.
I appreciate everyone's feedback.

SDSU has it every weekend if there are no other campuses near you to take it at.
