TEAS6

I am Beyond disappointed. I took my TEAS6 test a few weeks ago after studying so much. Everyday for almost a month. I purchased an ATI TEAS6 practice book on amazon to practice. I knew my weakness was on the science and the math part. I focused on those two more.

I felt confident the day of the test, I felt like I was going to finally pass. before the exam i was reviewing everything to make sure I don't forget anything. But, When I made it there I froze and forgot everything. I did good on the math but ran out of time.

I feel like no matter what I do I wont pass this exam. I don't know what to do now, and my passion is to be a nurse but I am feeling so discouraged that I'll never make it. I honestly think something's wrong with me.

I NEED HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't be so hard on yourself. The exam is stressful and it can be draining.

How did you prepare? Did you take the practice exams? Make flash cards?

What helped me with the timed part was calculating how much time they give you per question and apply that to the practice tests in the study guide. For example, if the TEAS test gave you about 1 min per question, then on the practice test, put a timer on your phone for a 15 question practice test for 15 minutes. If you run out of time, then you have to figure out ways to shave a few seconds off per question and still get to the right answer. What helped me was to eliminate answers that I KNOW for sure are wrong and also highlight critical words in the question such as EXCEPT and MOST IMPORTANT so you don't get the question wrong due to not answering the question properly.
