TEAS cost

I have to take the TEAS may 18th. When I saw it was 95 dollars my jaw just literally hit the floor. I still have to study and I can't even register at this point. Can someone please, please tell me if there are ANY resources I can utilize to help me cover the cost? Taking this test means absolutely everything to me and I have to take it. I have no family or friends that are willing to help me either so if there is some sort of organization or something I would not reject the help. Thank you SO much. :)

Try contacting your potential school. Generally there are not funds available for entrance examination fees, but your school department of nursing or financial aid office would have information if any resources are available. Have you applied for financial aid for your tuition and fees? Are you using an alternative funding source such as job corps or workforce investment act? The alternative funding source may offer assistance in paying for entrance examinations.

I have noticed that the cost of the TEAS test vary where you take it. I took it where I got my undergraduate degree and it cost about $60. When I started taking prereqs at a community college, they charged around $35 for the test. I'm not sure if this applies everywhere, but it's just something I have noticed and heard classmates talking about. I suggest you call different schools to find if they offer the test and the pricing as well.
