I love being a nurse but a goal of mine is eventually to teach nursing. Should I be focusing on a certain subject to teach...? And how would I even do that? Say I want to teach Pharmacology should I take certain classes? I know that if I want to teach Med/Surg Maternity, Peds, Mental health.. I should obviously get a lot of experience in those areas... but what about the other classes that don't teach a specialty... Any Insight?

If you want to teach nursing, pursue a master's degree in nursing. There would be specific courses you would take if you were on an education track. If you want to focus on a specific content area, of course, it is helpful to maximize your clinical experience in that area.
