Published

:confused::confused::confused:Just wanted to see is anyone can give me alittle break down on what is on this test. I am aware

of Math, english, and science. Can anyone give me some specific area to study. I have the nursing entrance exam book to study, any other helpful books out there? Is it basic math/algebra? any Geometry? What kind of english? Any any hints on the science? I would love any ideas! Thanks!!!!:)

Ok I took the teas test about two months ago and it wasn't so bad. I bought the book for the teas test specifically which helped. The math was fairly basic. Fractions things like that. English was grammar and what words mean things like that. Science I was grateful that I had recently taken a bio class in college, there were questions about dna and just basic biology and chemistry things I guess. Like there was a question about the periodic table of elements. I hope that helped a bit and good luck.

Thanks a bunch for responding. Were there reading paragraphs in the English also?

let me tell you, I took the teas test 3 times this years for different schools, and they all had different verison of the teas there was 2.0 version which was easy if you study and 4.0 version which was much harder. The Kaplan study guide on the science is so good, but know your rock cycle, volcanos, clouds because you would think it not on the test but it is.Know fraction, ratio, decimals like the back of your hand because they all use it in a word problems. english and reading is ok. what school are you taking the teas because if its frankford i think they use version 2 call and ask them.

Yes, Frankford, did you get in anywhere? They will tell me what version they use? Any hints on Frankford? THANKS

My advice to you is you must get the study guide, study like crazy. get the teas and kaplan study guide, use the internet test perviews. If your strong in english and reading , just read and answer the questions. if your weak in math and science study harder, you know this. Time is of the essence, all schools have guidelines that students have to follow best thing is to get everything in early. I'm attending lpn program and bridge to rn program in camden new jersey, got burn out trying to get in philly schools, every school have there own criteria. The lpn route was best for me. Don't give up, your way too deep into it now. Good luck
