Taking NCLEX on the 3rd

Published

Hi guys, I know I don't post here that often, but please pray for me. I often read the forums here and all the success stories are very encouraging, and even if one doesn't pass the NCLEX the words of support help me feel like even if is not the first time, I can do it on the second time.

It's been a long road and I am finally going to take the NCLEX for the first time on October 3rd, I feel like I am almost fully prepared. I've been preparing for a month now after my regular work (which is a pain, because I wish I could've put more time into practicing, especially more alert time, half the time I'm half asleep) and I feel like every source I use, the questions are so random that I have no idea if a couple of weeks extra will be any help.

So far I've been preparing with Saunders comprehensive questions, Kaplan Q banks, Hurst Q tests (I have three to go), several NCLEX apps, and I am currently doing LaCharity (hopefully I will finish it before the exam). I've been scoring over 60 to low 70's on all these and I feel like hopefully that is good enough -_-

Anyways, please pray for me and wish me luck. And if anyone has any last minute tips, please share :)

I will be praying for you as well because i am taking mines this week as well so pray for me too!!!!!!

you'll be fine :) i know you can do it :) God is always there for you.. you know this is my favorite passage . i always read this while im reviewing for my nclex rn.. Matthew 21:22 "you can pray for anything, and if you have faith, you will receive it." and now im an RN!! be confident... you've done your part and now offer this to Lord and Lord lead everything. GODBLESS :)

Yes, I will pray for you too. Let me know how you do, the best of luck!!!

Thank you very much, that is a great passage, I will try to stay confident and breathe and take it one question at a time :)

Will pray for you! I will take it on the 5th..:angrybird11: for the 2nd time. Hope you will do great!

Thank you very much, I will pray for you too. Good luck, you will do great, let me know how you did :)

Thank you all very much, I just checked online and I have a license, I guess, I don't have to pay for quick results anymore :)

And also, the PVT does work. I did that as soon as I got home after taking the NCLEX and had the good pop up. It relieved some of my failure thoughts cause the NCLEX really did kick my butt. I had 19 SATA questions, 3 to put in order, 2 math questions (thank goodness). I'm relieved that I had none to point to/at cause I hate those almost as much as I hate the SATA questions.

Good luck to everyone and I will keep everyone on my prayers. Everyone will pass, don't worry, take it one question at a time and think that is your last exam to study for, also ear plugs are helpful, it helped me feel like I was the only one in the room taking my exam, so a little more relaxed.

p.s. my total number of questions were more than 110, but less than 120. I didn't look at the number when my screen went blue (I thought it was time for one more break, lol!). Also, try to relax and keep in mind that 15 of those questions are not counted (I don't know which, but just see it as they are most likely the ones that you are doing bad on to relieve some anxiety).

congrats. your agony is over. my only prayer is wishing the battle be over. i wanted to go back to my normal life again.

Congrats! I just took mine this morning and ended up 75 questions by 9:30 am lol..... I have tons of SATAs (about 15), and lots of math questions, too. Couldn't believe it cause last time I did 265 questions.. I got the good PVT pop out though!! We will see..

lol, same here. Eeheheh.. I can finally take naps, buahhh.. I missed my naps after work, and exercising.. it feels so good to not have to study and worry about tests/exams... I can finally read for fun lol.

Are you taking the NCLEX soon? or have you taken it yet and are awaiting for results?

Congratulations to you too!!! From what I've read online in my two day waiting, that good pop up has worked for everyone on this site. Only the bad cc is the one where it may be a false fail, and you may have passed.

So congratulations again!!! :)
