SO I made the decision to take online classes instead of the creidt by exam. I might change my mind later but as of right now I would like to get alot of these classes out of the way instead of throwing my money away. If you have taken any of the online nursing courses, can you please advice how to prepare and what to look for. I made my decision a little to late to start, sooner than January but it gives me time to get myself together.

From what I have read in the Facebook groups, the courses include weekly discussion posts and usually a couple of papers or bigger projects during the courses. I believe you might be able to see a sample syllabus on the EC website in the registration area after you are approved for the course. Good luck!

I took 2 courses online while also testing out of exams. The courses were ok. We had weekly discussion boards and one paper at the end to write for each class. I didnt like the weekly test. Most test were 10-20 questions. They dont show you what you've missed on the test, they will post next to your grade in the comments box what you should review from the test you took and they will give you subjects to review for the final exam. The final exam consist of 50-75 questions, again this depends on the teacher. I hope this helps. Each instructor is different but will help you along the way. All test are timed. Be sure to study.
