SW MO FNP programs

Hello all

I have been accepted to two different FNP programs in SW Missouri and was hoping to make contact with folks who may have an opinion about either/both schools.

The schools I have been accepted to are University of Missouri - Kansas City (Joplin campus) and Missouri State University in Springfield. I am leaning toward MSU because it's local and a bit cheaper, but I want to be sure I make good choices.

Internet searches looking for reviews of FNP programs have thus far been pretty fruitless. Any comments would be most appreciated!!

Thanks.

I went to the Joplin UMKC one, and it was horrific. There were a couple of decent teachers, but overall it was terrible. It was unorganized and filled with rediculous information (I wrote a paper on the history of enchiladas, yet no one bothered to teach EKG interpretation).

I don't know what MSU is like, but I can't imagine it could be any worse than UMKCs program. And the vast majority of NPs I know who went there agree.
