Surviving Nursing School

Thought I'd pass along two articles that I have found to be very helpful regarding juggling family and school, study tips, clinical tips and ideas for research papers. The National Student Nurses' Association (http://www.nsna.org) has a newsletter called "Imprint" that has some useful articles ya'll might want to check out. :)

great articles!

i printed them off, so i could give them to my classmates.

thanks,

moni :)

Well, I tried to go look at these. In fact, I've tried to go look at several of the articles at NSNA...and for some reason am unable to get them. I've tried looking at them from the site...I've tried saving them onto my drive and I keep a bunch of garbage. Anyone got any suggestions. I know this would be useful information, but I just can't seem to get it to work for me. :o Anyone's help is greatly appreciated.

These articles and the NSNA newsletter are PDF files, which means that you have to have Adobe Acrobat to view them. If you don't have it, you can download it for free at: http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/85f6.htm

Just save the downloaded file to your desktop and then double click on it to run the installation and follow the directions on the screen. Hope this helps. If this doesn't solve the problem, not sure what it might be...that's about the extent of my technical skills!! :)

Valerie,

Thanks for the info. I had Adobe installed, but it kept opening in Word and that's why I was getting all the garbage. After reading your post, I opened Adobe first and then opened the docs and Presto!! they opened. Thanks for the info...these are really great articles. I made copies and am giving to some fellow students.
