Surgical tech pay

So this is a random question, but I have recently accepted a circulating position in northern california and will be moving there soon. My boyfriend is a surgical tech, and is interested in working out there too, but is nervous about doing it because he's not sure the pay would be worth the move (his family etc is not in california, and he has a lot of debt to pay off, plus cost of living is very expensive). So I'm trying to get an average estimate of scrub pay in that area if anybody has any idea? (Sonoma county to be specific or that sorrounding area...).

Why not just apply and see what he is offered? Or call the hospital and look for pay scales, some even post them on there jobs listed online. Odds are that if you're coming from somewhere other than that region or Manhattan, the pay will be higher.
