Sumner Interview in CO

Nursing Students SRNA

Published

I just interviewed yesterday in Denver for Sumner's program. They were all really great people, had a good feeling from the interview. This is a new program, and that can be nerve wrecking, but I see the possibilities here. Anyone else interviewing with them?

In interviewed with Sumner during the set of interviews held in Denver in April. Overall I was impressed and they seem confident regarding their pending accredidation. Yes, a new program seems risky on some levels, but we will be pioneers!

Hi congrats on you interview, I have a few questions if you don't mind? Will you be in a different state for this program? Are any of the hospitals in your area currently affiliates of this program, if not, how long did they tell you it would take to make your local hospitals affils? Also, are you at all concerned with the program being completely off site? Sorry for prying, but I'm a little curious on how they will structure this program, so any other information that you think you could spare would be great.

Thanks

I live and work in Denver. Go to Sumner's website- sumnerhealth.com

It does a great job of outlining the structure of the program.

Specializes in ICU.

I'm also interested in applying to Sumner for the July 09 start date. They seem very willing to help with any info needed. I live in Colorado so the program was a Godsend in terms of family stability for me. Moving for my whole family is not an option for me. There will at least be one year of student feedback available to me before I would begin. $$$ but hopefully worth it.

Would love to hear more details of the interview from you! :)

Thx!

Nate
