Summer Class Schedule Help

Hi! I'm hoping to get some opinions here. I am a mostly stay at home mom to a 1yr old and a 4yr old whose taking my pre-reqs 1 at a time per semester. I work 12 hours a week at a drs office. I'd like to try and take 2 classes this summer so I can take Anatomy by it's self this fall. Do you think that it's possible for someone in my situation to take a 8 week summer Human Development class (on campus) and a 8 week summer Sociology class (teleweb) and be sucessful? I know there's a lot of power students out there doing it all but my 1 class at a time during the regular semesters has really be enough for me. Anyone out there similar? Thanks for your imput!

I am in the same situation as you. I am a stay at home mom to a 21 month old and a 3 month old. I don't work, but I go to school Mon-Thur 5:30-6:45 and I am taking Nutrition online. Last semester I took 2 classes Human Dev. and Psych. both made A's (and I had my daughter during the semester) So far so good this semester I'm taking 3 classes. Nutrition,Western Civ (finishing up my other courses) & Statistics. I'm doing well in all so far (cross your fingers) I am taking 2 classes this summer, my western civ 2 and speech courses) My opinion is Human Dev is mostly common sense (if you are a mother you should do well in this and the class is really interesting) I barely studied and made an A, you will just have to study theories and such but that's all it really isn't bad.

If you are determined to make a good grade, then I would just buy a calendar and write down your days--study, in class, reading the textbook, etc. make time for studying and get your husband, parents, inlaws, boyfriend, sibling etc to help you so you have time. Don't be afraid to ask for help, you will need to once to get into the nursing classes.
