So this is my second attempt at getting through nursing school and also at this class. Foundations has been difficult for me to get a hold of study wise and I'm not sure if the method that I'm doing not will help. I've now decided to start answering the objectives that the instructors give us for each chapter along with using the key points, review questions, case studies w/ answers and rationale....all for review. On top of that, do NCLEX questions on the chapter's topic. It would be lovely if some of you that have graduated could chime in and let me know what you think.....it would be greatly appreciated. ❤❤✌?✌?

Good evening, I will do what I can to help you--but I am old AF and no longer remember what is in foundations. If you can tell me what is in that course, I might be able to be more of a help. Key word--might.
But before anything else, some reflection questions (and you don't have to post your answers here. Just chew on them). Why did you fail this course before? What do you identify as your barriers to success? What were you doing before that you are doing differently now?
As for study tips:
Find a study group. Seriously.
In that study group, use a technique of teach/teach back.
Spaced repetition is your friend. (For more information, check out a book called "Make It Stick". Super short and worth the read<--trust me, I get that you have other things to read right now. Just sayin'.)
Quizlet or Anki for notecards that can travel with you. Best wishes to you. Keep on keepin' on, ~~CP~~
