Study tips for Gen Chem

Just need tips on how to study Gen Chemistry. Will be taking it this Fall. Haven't had a math course in years.

Start studying hard from the beginning. Try to find out in your school if there are free tutors, always when you feel there are some points not clear just ask the teacher or look for clarification or go to internet into google and do a search for the specific topic sometimes the explaination in there is better thant the one from the teachers.

As far as math don't worry to much, just elementary math, algebra like order of doing math calculation you know parenthesys first and then outside, multiplication, devision first than addition and so on, also the conversion factors wich you can find also in google there a lot of info. Basically with this you conver between differents units, ilke miles to kilometers or litters to milliliters or grams to pounds and so on... Not big deal just don't leave question not answered. and do all the exercise in the book and bring it over to the teacher before he goes through the chapter or before he / she finishes the chapter...... Very important.. set on the notebook the grade you want write it down in the first page and work hard for that grade. try to write down the phone of some of the students in case you miss some days..
