I am fixing to graduate as a rn from a school in georgia and i am here in the us as an international student. My question are..

1. Can i get a job once i have passed my nclex

2. How do i find out which hospitals sponsor rn.

3. And what is the procedure for filling a greencard....do i get a job and a sponsor and then i file.

If you applied for OPT before you graduate then you can work for 12 months whilst gaining experience as long as OPT has been approved.

You then need to ask your employer or ask other hospitals if they will sponsor for immigrant visa and only they can file for it. You can not file. Be aware of retrogression and depending where you was born will depend on how many years you will have to wait for a immigrant visa allowing you to live and work in the US. On average currently looking at 2 plus years and if you plan on staying in the US whilst waiting then you will have to maintain a legal status which may involve staying at school and maintaining F1 visa.
