I'm trying to see if I can upload our unit's report sheet but I'm having some issues... so stay tuned! There are a few sites that I found particularly helpful especially when first starting. It really helps you "get the big picture" when you know what area causes what symptoms.

Heather, are you an icu or floor nurse? Are you out of orientation or still in orientation? Its ok dont feel like you are drowning you will not know everything, stay open minded to learning and enjoy learning , know when to ask for help, know when to clock out and let it go you survived your patients survived you made it another day/night, get comfortable and confident with yourself, and its ok to tell a pt or family member "hmm im not sure let me check on that for you: its ok. Good luck. I think these two quotes were perfect when i first started - fake it till u make it - and - sink or swim
No, I'm not ICU, but it is a step down unit from ICU. Thanks for your encouragment, I am hanging in there! It's tough but definitely better than earlier. One of my favorite quotes is..."just keep swimming, just keep swimming" from the great philosophical work of Finding Nemo.
Hahahaha yeah thats great! Keep thinking like that and soon a later you will be like dang im fine...there is challanges but a team with me that has my back (some do i promise ) ) and im doing it. Good luck heather
