Took the test today and I am really stressed. I thing I failed the boards. It cut off at "100", any input about how it works and if its a good or bad thing if it cuts off at "100".

There is no definitive way to measure success or failure based on the number of questions the computer shut off at.

Best of luck to you.

Answering 100 questions indicates that, according to the computer adaptive testing, the computer was not able to make a definitive determination of passing or failing once you answered the 99th question. After you answered the 100th question, it was finally able to determine with 95 percent certainty whether you passed or failed. Once the C.A.T. makes a determination, the computer cuts off and the test is concluded.

Most NCLEX test-passers see their computer stop after 87 to 120 questions. Therefore, 100 is a good number for the computer to stop.
