Stony Brook Basic BSN Class of 2022

Hi everyone!! I decided I should start a thread for this year’s applicants so we can keep each other updated and answer questions.

I applied last year as well and was waitlisted, so if you have any questions I’d be happy to help!

    Has anyone who interviewed been accepted anywhere else yet? I applied to Molloy and NCC as backup. I got into Molloy's Dual Degree program for the Fall and I really don't know too much about it since it's my backup to SBU. Any thoughts on Molloy? I have to send a deposit by April 6th!

    I say you go for it! Molloy is well known for their nursing program so you won’t be displeased. Congratulations!!

    Thanks haha that’s the plan but still going to hold out for SBU in the event I get in. Molloy is pretty pricy and I don’t want to be stuck with too much debt! Did you apply anywhere aside from SBU?

    Nope! I’m a student at stony brook at the moment and transferring to too much of a hassle.

    That makes sense! We’re moving to LI this Summer so I tired keeping my options open! Transferring is a pain, I have about 4-5 transcripts already!
