is there still hope?

hi! im new here..i dont know if i should vent out or ask advices as well.. ive been applying to numerous hospitals here in laguna and also to manila but still no even as a volunteer..:crying2: i already spent lots of money for all the basic trainings plus for the transportation fee when applying.. i dont know who to ask for regarding postings or hiring of hospitals, coz almost all of my friends settled in the call center industry..i also worked there for a year but resigned , coz i still tried my luck applying in hospitals..i dont wanna be a nurse for nothing..am i right??but im thinking of going back now..coz im gettin depressed alreday..im tired of being in the waiting list..or having to have a backer to get in..whew! any news where can i apply as staff or even as a volunteer??? i would really really appreciate any feedback! thanks.. ":redbeathe

Well I think you are not talking about the US?! But, it's just as bad here. We are flooded with new grads, many are doing the same things as you guys are now... you read nurses at Starbucks, waiting tables, call centers, clothes stores, you name it. Not good. So, at least I think you did not spend more to come here and have no job in a foreign country.

well, you have a point there! im here in the philippines and there are really a lot of unemployed nurses here..im just confused on what's the next step after this??i hope there is sumone there who can give me any info or news bout hospitals with vacancies either as staff or volunteer...thanks!:nurse:
