Stethoscope Question...

I was just wondering, wouldn't it be great if I could find a tubing color I LOVED! Then once I made up my mind about peds, NICU, or Adults, if I could just buy the individual chest pieces. You know the whole piece with bell and diaphragm, for adult and NICU and Pediatric. Has anyone ever tried that before? Do you guys understand what I'm asking? I don't mean the ones with changeable heads, I mena like the whole piece of metal comes off at the end of the scope. To swap out for another piece of metal that is the right size. Is that possible?

    You can pull the whole diaphragm off! I just wish they'd let us choose everything. i really want a hot pink tubing with all black pieces, but nooooo, can't get that!

    What if you bought a stealth stethoscope, and then mixed and matched.... Like took all the metal pieces off and then combined it with your hot pink tubing. Hehe. But I was just making sure that was possible and like it wouldn't mess up the acoustics or anything?
