it always cracks me up when a staff member comes in c/o nfw and wants me to send them home. i always remind them they are adults and if they feel they should go home they should talk to the principal. of course emergencies are a different story, i'm talking more about the staff that complains about sinus issues or nausea and wants my approval. when i have repeat offenders i'll tease them that i'm going to start charging them a co-pay, they usually get the message

Hello, I am a first year school nurse and I deal with the same thing all of them time but I also get it from my family and friends as well as the staff at my school. I also have had the issue with staff coming to my office and in a round about way tell me how to do my job. It can be very frustrating and I do not know how to say to them (let me do my job...) without being rude.
