SRMC online nursing program

Is there anyone who lives in Richmond,Va who is taking or has taken the online RN program at southside regional medical center. Can you give me some info about it, time and days of clinicals, the cost, after you finish the prereqs, how long does it take to complete the program, do you ever have to go to the classroom for anything, do you have to have a web camera for your computer, and is it a very difficult program? Thanks

i live in richmond and am trying to attend the SRMC online nursing program.

i am currently an LPN and have applied for re-admission into the program.

i got half-way thru the LPN to RN bridge class and had to drop due to financial issues, however, the class was fine to take while i was enrolled. that specific class was half a semester and was online. you would email your assignments to your instructor and she would email you back feedback and a grade. i believe at the end of the class, you would meet up a couple of times for clinicals down in petersburg to get checked off on basic nursing skills so the school could determine where you should start (i.e. - you will need to start with nursing 101 or you did well enough where you can jumpstart into more advanced classes)

because i never got to the clinical portion, i can't tell you how the rest went, but i'm hoping to give it another try come august '09.

i just learned that they do not have clinicals on weekends, so i will need to find a job on weekends so i can attend clinicals a couple of days a week on weekdays and complete coursework at home on my computer.

that's my plan, anyway .. :)
