Spring 2018 MDC Nursing Program

My journey started from cna, lpn now,I applied for spring 2018 nursing bridge program. I am looking forward to what it has to offer and the challenges ahead. Anything is possible if you work hard and be persistence in reaching every goal you set for yourself. Always keep a positive mind.

@jenneraytion: What's the URL for the Hesi website that allows you to see all of the scores for MDC?

I finally retook the HESI for a second time! I got an 83 the first time and when I retook it I got an 87 (which isn't that much of a different but ill take it). My goal was to get a 90 or higher but like I said i'll take it lol! I have a 3.6 Science GPA so I hope that is enough..what do you guys think?

Am I the only one that has been checking my email all day?! THE ANTICIPATION IS KILLING ME HERE!

I would also love to know this. I've been searching and nothing has been coming up.

Elsevier sent me a HESI assessment email after I took the exam. I used the link in the email and logged in to my Elsevier account (the same username and password we made to take the hesi) from there there's a student access link that takes you to a results page for your hesi. From there you click on your test date link and see what the averages were for the day and time you took the hesi.

I have my student gmail on my phone. So if anything I get a notification when I get an email. Save the hassle of constantly logging in. Unless there is another email we need to check.

I know people say that they feel like the 2nd attempt hesi exam is harder than the first, did you feel that way? And every point counts. With your new score I calculated your competitive score as 88.2 (87x.6=52.2 + 36) which is awesome. As people have pointed out I've seen people with competitive scores of 79 get in

@ jenneraytion: Can you please post the average thus far? Sorry, I didn't receive that email.

We would need to find someone who recently took the exam. My average will be for the day I took it back in July and it was 73. Has active taken the hesi recently?

I know someone who got in with 76

I didn't get an email after my test. I hope that's not going to be an issue!

I don't think it matters at all I've had an elsevier account since May 2016 when I took the HESI for bcc so I probably activated email notifications back then. This is the link provided in the email. Use your login info that you made to take the HESI and see what happens
