Hello,
I just joined this site today. I will be starting school on October 27,2008 for the LVN program. I have a few questions....I will going to a "Career College" and I will earn a certificate and not a degree. My main concern is, is there a huge difference between having your degree vs. just your cerificate/license for a LVN?
This school is very expense and I am willing to pay for it, if it's worth it. Also, would having your degree start you off at a higher pay than just having your certificate for LVN?
Is a career college worth it?
Thanks :loveya:

College careers are worth it for far more than just the money. Education is never wasted and it just adds to your life and horizons.
I can't answer for you the LVN degree vs. certificate question: at my hospital, there is a differential for BSN (beyond ADN). It isn't "huge".
Go for it! Whether you decide on this program or another, yeah, college in any form is worth it. :yeah::clpty::yeah:
