So disppointed...

Well today I was suppose to go to a job shadow in a maternity ward ( Wanting to be a Neonatal nurse :heartbeat I was extremely excited about this) in a hospital. Well I am extremely upset because my teacher decided that I had to get something signed that she told me I didn't have to a couple days earlier and she decided that she would tell me today (the day that I was suppose to go) that I needed it signed :mad:. I am so angry and disappointed. I went up to her at the end of class asking her what I needed to be signed she looks at me like she has no clue what I am talking about and says "For what?":smackingf what do you mean for what I went up to you at the beginning of the class asking you to help me fill it out the permission slip. Ugh! Well now I have to reschedule the job shadow but I don't know when I will be able to. I don't want to make my teacher seem like a bad teacher but she is a bit elderly and often forgets stuff :rolleyes:. Oh well I'll deal with it I just felt like ranting. Thank you to all who listened. Now I have a question to make me feel a bit better. What is it like at a NICU during the Christmas season and (this has nothing to do with the NICU at all) what is your favorite thing about Christmas? :christmastree:

    It is great in the NICU at Christmas time! We put up a tree and decorate all the babies beds with holiday linen....the parents bring in lots of treats....yay Mostly what I like is getting yearly cards from many of our past babies. I love to see how much the infants have changed as the years go by. NICU is the best place to work in the hospital, although it can be tough to get into at first. You will love it once you graduate and get a job! Good luck.....(smiles):nurse:
