Desperately seeking some advice! I graduated with my BSN last May and have been working on a surgical telemetry floor for the past 10 months. I recently landed an interview in our SICU and needless to say it's my dream job. I feel as though I do have an advantage since it is at my hospital (it would be an internal transfer) and I know almost all of the attending surgeons and surgical residents, know the charting system, hospital resources, etc. However, I have not had much interview experience as an RN since the job I'm at now was the first one I interviewed for. Plus, i have no critical care experience. The opening was for an RN with at least 1 year of experience, so I feel like I really need to stand out. Any tips on what I can expect?! So nervous and really want this job!
