Should I wait?

Hi Everybody,

I need some advice, I have completed A&P I, Microbiology and Biology. And Chemistry many years ago and I am applying for a nursing program at my community college. Application deadline is April, 2016. I will not have finished A&P II until March, 2016. But I need to complete TEAS V test prior to application deadline. I was planning to take the TEAS V next week, however I just started studying. Some youtube on the Math and some quizlet on the science. I need 75 to qualify for nursing program. I am a average student my gpa is 3.56. Do you think I should wait to take the TEAS V test later in January or February or should I give it a shot. I can take the test as many times as desired for this college but not sure if other colleges would frown on repeat TEAS V test. I guess I should be looking at passing first time not being focused on how many times I can take it. But for those that have taken the test before do you think my brief review will be sufficient or should I breakdown and buy TEAS practice exams. Sorry to be so wordy but wanted to give a accurate picture of my situation.

I took the TEAS last minute, since I hadn't planned on applying to nursing school, but circumstances changed.

I studied the ATI TEAS Review Manual for only a few days before taking the TEAS, and passing with around an 84%. It depends on the individual and how well you grasped and remember concepts from your previous classes.

There are some free practice questions online, so you could attempt to answer those and see how confident you feel. Good luck!

Thank you cracklingkraken, I appreciate the feedback. I will continue to do free practice questions online and see how confident I feel.
