I am 36 in Bangalore, India. I have been working as a medical transcriptionist for 15 years now. I had to stop studying after 12th Grade, and now, I think I need a career change, and since I already like the Healthcare field, I am thinking of becoming a nurse by studying in the USA. Should I take up the APN course now and will I be able to keep up with the courses at my age?

I'm not sure what the APN is. I'm guessing it's something to apply to become a student in the US from a foreign country. I know everybody thinks their abbreviations are universally understood but they are not. And it's not just this post, it's everybody on this site that talks in just letters and I'm like what is that?
I would honestly study nursing in your home country. The requirements of one country to do necessarily translate to another. If you want to practice in India, study in India.

I'm sure India has plenty of work for nurses, and you already have a foot in the door of the healthcare system there. Why are you thinking of moving to the USA?
My partner is going to be moving to the US too. Also, I work as a medical transcriptionist for US hospitals.
