Should I follow up?

Hey everybody. I'm a fairly new Rn, Bsn and have been working in home health part time for 5 months since graduating. I recently interviewed for a new grad position at a hospital. It is a days full time position which is amazing. The interview seemed to go well. They offered me to interview for this position after I applied for a different position which got filled. So this one was not officially posted on the hospital site. A week after the interview the manager who interviewed me asked me to officially apply for the position. I applied for it, how should I follow up? Should I email her back to let her know? If so what should I say without sounding like a pest? Thank you

You could send a thank you card and let her know you appreciated the opportunity to interview and reiterate your interest in the position. :)
