I'm currently on a waiting list for a nursing program however, I'm trying to decide if I should really pursue nursing or look into other jobs in the healthcare field. I'm 19 and a year ago I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis initially I thought it was no big deal and I could still become a nurse however my symptoms continue to progress and become more severe. I know clincals in school are extremely tiring and nursing in general is a strenuous job. I would just like to know if there is anyone in a similar situation or is there a way where I can find a less strenuous job as a nurse or if I should look into other healthcare related jobs. Nursing has been my dream since I was kid my mother and grandmother are nurses and I was pretty much raised at the nurses station but I'm not sure if I can physically handle what nursing entails
