im starting at sheridan tech dec. 17 anyone else in this block?

Yep. I start there too on dec 17th... but i am exempt from core, so although i have to go the first day, dec 17th, i dont go back til Jan 17th. I just hope that even though core should be stuff i've already done and learned, i dont miss out on anything important... Anyone else starting dec 17 and exempt from core??

Yea I have core as well I'm very excited :) lol Did anyone get all the books and supplies yet? I have my books and uniforms but still need to get my other stuff.

I have all of my books,a few supplies and uniforms. Ditto on being excited. I'll get the remaining of my supplies after the 1st day when we are told what's needed.

i already got all the books we should need. Need to get my uniforms this week. What supplies are needed? Just wanna see what everyone else is getting according to what's on the book list. They only have uniforms, lab coat, and flash drive on the book list on their website. But i'm sure we have to have a stethoscope, right?

Yes, we do need a stethoscope. As far as supplies, I know we will need a watch with a second hand, and then the basics;pencils, small calculator,black pens,colored pens and index cards. These supplies are per a previous student, I assume we will know what is needed on the 17th. I was also advised Littmann is the best steth to get.

okay.. yea i actually just went today to get my uniforms, and the lady at the bookstore just said we'll need a flashdrive and some kind of headset, and we'll be told what else we need to get when we go to the first day. Thanks for the advice on the stethoscope, tho!

anyone know if it's mandatory to wear uniforms for the first day? If not sure, are you going to wear one or just plain clothes?

Per Ms. B we are required to wear uniforms.
