SHARP New Grad Fall 2024

I thought I would start a new thread for the SHARP new grad program that starts in Oct/Nov and we can keep each other updated!

Can I ask what are your qualifications so I know for next round? Also did you happen to email the talent acquisition about your application?

Honestly, I think my resume and cover letter are what got me an interview! At the time of application, I had my NCLEX scheduled. Now, I have my license, I have 12 years of experience as a medical assistant/patient care assistant, currently enrolled in a BSN program, experience working night shift, member of ANA, have NIHSS certification and level 1 ECG cert. Unfortunately, I heard back from them and I did not get the position ?

Wow, I'm very sorry to hear that. If they didn't select someone with your qualifications I have a hard time understanding what exactly they're looking for.

No that sucks I'm sorry! Would you mind sharing what unit you interviewed for?

Hi friends! I had an interview with Sharp Memorial's Transplant PCU last Thursday, and they told me it would be 2 weeks before I heard back. But, the next day someone from HR sent an "RN experience" document to fill out. Anyone get the same thing that interviewed?

Congratulations! Do you mind sharing your qualifications?

I'm guessing my interview skills weren't that great & that's why I wasn't chosen for one of the positions.

I would not be discouraged!! This is my 4th time applying to Sharp and the 1st time I've even gotten an interview - I currently have 6 months RN experience at an LTAC, but I have been applying to all the SD new grad programs since last year. It's just very competitive. I graduated in May 2023, have my BLS, ACLS, and was an OR tech in nursing school. No other certifications. but currently working as an RN at an LTAC I think is the only reason I even got an interview this time. Keep your head up!

Has anyone heard back from CV

Has anyone heard from memorial oncology?

Does anyone know typically how long after interview it takes to receive RN experience/reference request? I've seen many people receive it the day of/day after their interview... just wondering if I'm considered out if I haven't gotten it yet
