I'm on the alternate list My friend had a score 1 higher than mine and got called on Friday. I'm keeping my fingers crossed and my phone on.

Hi, I was also put on the list and I got a call on friday.Just be patient when I spoke to the advisor he told me he had to call people in the first day of school .

I was wondering when I would find some of my future classmates on Allnurses! I have met a few people here and there while doing the paper work/ physical/background check thing. A few of the folks I know from some of my pre req classes. I am really looking forward to starting the Nursing program this Fall and a little nervous. all of this waiting around is nerve racking :bugeyes:

Does anybody know when the syllabus for NP1 is going to be posted ( and the clinical supply list) ?

It will be available one week before class starts. Keep checking on the nursing home page just in case it get posted:typing before that time. I my self check at least twice a day.

how many points did you all have for the application out of the total?? I am applying for this fall 2010 and I'm around 75/108 points

They've changed the system a bit since last year, I think I had around 86 out of 103. The number of seats available and the number of applicants decide the cut off for entrance, and both of those numbers are variable. The best advice I can give you is don't give up. If you end up on the alternate list, keep your schedule open until the first week of classes. I got the call that a seat had opened up at around 4:45 pm on the Friday before classes started, and there were people who got the following Monday.

Thank you for that information. My points total is probably going to be around 75/108. I hope I get in. I am originally from Gainesville but I've been going to an out-of-state school and I'd rather save money and finally move back to Gainesville to go to nursing school at Santa Fe College, it just all depends if I get in so I am praying!
