Sentara MENP

Updated:   Published

Hello, reaching out to see if anyone else has been accepted into Sentara College of Health Science's MENP program in Virginia. I start in August and am so excited, hoping to find some future classmates.

Hello, I noticed it's now been almost a year since you entered the program. I am applying for this fall. Would you mind to give me your opinion on the program thus far?

I'm planning on applying to sentara for the MENP program and I really really really want to get into this school. My current GPA is 3.6 and my prerequisite GPA is 3.2 but I still have a year left. Would you mind to tell me your GPA and prerequisite GPA so I know what I need to hit in order to get into Sentara? @Jeneyes

Yes! I have made it through two semesters and we have Summer classes. I am happy with the smaller class size and program. Everything is going very well but it is a tough program. My stats getting in for the pre-req portion that they look at was 3.6. You have to make sure you have A and B's in those classes to be accepted. I retook AP2 to turn a C into an A and increase my GPA. Having a very strong letters of recommendation is important too! Message me if you have more questions.

Have either of you officially applied for the program? I haven't heard anything and I wanted to know if anyone else has.

Yes, I applied and was accepted into the program for fall 2021

Hey Rachel, I'm super late replying, sorry about that. I was accepted for fall 2021. My stats were a 4.0 GPA but I believe you only need As and Bs in the prerequisite courses. Good luck!!
