Sentara hiring process?

Hi everyone :)

im relocating to norfolk (got my temp license, waiting for verification) . i applied to sentara and out of 5 positions applied for 3 were declined, but one is saying " Under Recruitment Review ". thing is, it's been in review for 12 days now. i was wondering if this is a normal wait time? im an experienced med/ surg nurse.

my rational is that they would say im no longer a candidate as they did with the other ones if they were not interested, but the anticipation is killing me!

thanks in advance for any advice!

My mom works for Sentara and has told me that their HR department is not the best in terms of communication turnover. You should probably shoot the nurse recruiter an e-mail to get your name fresh in their minds.

I'm asking myself the same question. I recently got a missed call from one of the nurse recruiter regarding some positions I have applied for. She left the message on my home voice mail with her office number. I have been trying to get in touch with her since then with no success. i call her almost every thirty minutes, but I always get her voice mail. And I the next thing I know, one of those positions that was under recruitment review is closed. I wonder what happened.
