Sent in my Riverside application today!!!!

I have a couple of questions for you Riverside veteran peeps. :)

I scheduled my TEAS for the second week in August. My 10 credits are completed, my chem is passed, and I will finish the rest of my pre-reqs this summer and fall for Jan 2011 start date (praying they accept me).

Do you have to have the TEAS completed to receive any type of acceptance, conditional or otherwise, or will they give you a cond. acceptance before you have taken the TEAS? Should I reschedule my TEAS for sooner?

Also, how long after submitting your packet did you hear back with an answer??

Thanks so much all!! :)

I believe that you do have to complete the TEAS before they give you response on acceptance. Take your time and study for the teas test. It covers everything and the better you do the more likely you are to get accepted. Good luck!

You do need to have the TEAS grade before they will issue a letter of acceptance. They will do conditional letters if you don't have all your pre-reqs completed but generally require those to be done before you start class. The only other formality is the interview, but by that point you are most of the way through the whole process and they just want to make sure that you have the right mindset for the program.
