SELU fall 2011!!!

I just started the first semester of the accelerated program on Monday. I do know a few people that are starting the traditional program in August!

dont yall do the normal semesters with us too?

Hai! I start this fall too. I think I'm in section five. I want to get started now. Summer break just started and I'm already bored. I have to find something to do for the next three months.

ughhh yes i wish there was an option to start in summer other than accelerated!!! just glad i am working.. i have some section 2 and section 1 classes. have facebook?? i know i have the full list of everyone accepted i that email but its too long..

Hey guys! Im applying for next fall at SELU, does anyone know the stats for your class starting in August, (number accepted and GPA)? Also, is anyone choosing the Baton Rouge Clinical option?

Ooh, I lied. I'm in section 3. How do you have two different schedules? I don't use Facebook. @Stormi-FutureNurse: I think the cutoff was a 3.448, and 72 people were accepted into the regular track. I heard the accelerated was bumped up to 22 slots? But I'm not sure.

trenia- in my leonet it says section then in some classes has a 2 and a couple have a 1 lol. idk!!!

the baton rouge clinical option? i live next to br so that would be mine!

That's just the section of the class I think. Some of my classes say 3 and 2 too, but my schedule they gave me just says 3. Both of my in-class lectures are section 2. I dunno why they made it so confusing.

Ok.. Do you have pharm at 8 am on wednesday??

I wish I had you guys' schedule. Both my 8 am classes are Thursday and Friday.

Yes, accelerated and traditional students are together in the regular semesters. Just finished the first lab, which was a pass/fail and was SUPER easy. Tomorrow is the final for Community Health Nursing, which was online and a little tougher.

I did have a few traditional students in my lab and lecture class, they failed during the spring and they let them retake this summer. So hopefully they can stay on track with their class. I guess you don't have that option if you fail in the Fall, you have to retake in the spring and it sets you back a semester

Next Monday I start Pharm II, and some other classes that I can't remember right now. I'm stuck on Pharm cause it's MW at freaking 7:30 in the morning, ahhhhhhhhhhh!

There were 18 of us accepted for this semester I believe.

The only thing I have to say so far is save up some $$! I spent around $350 between the books, DVD set and nursing bag. You will continue to use these things for multiple semesters, but it was a bit of a shock, all coming at once!
