Second time NCLEX-RN

Nursing Students NCLEX

Published

I took my nclex for the first time in September and received all 265 questions, I felt so prepaired the week before getting good scores on the Kaplan q trainers. Then the morning of my test the most anxiety I have ever experienced in my life over came me. I feel like that is a major reason I did not pass. I was on questions number 263 and it was a SATA so I knew I was above passing level, then the next was priority and then the final question was a easy question. I was devistated. I knew I fail just by how the last 3 questions were given. I didn't want to try the pop up because I already knew my fate. The 48 hour results confirmed my gut belief. I mourned my loss for about a week and dove right back into to studying. But of course, they say you can take it again in 45 days but what they forget to mention is that there isn't a possible date for 2 .5 months at all surrounding locatons. I take my nclex again next week and I need to pass. I'm praying that I do. I have used the alternate format questions by lippincott and the priority, delegation, and assignment mostly, as well as the study guide that floats around these forums and Facebook pages. Compared to the nclex I feel like both these books are spot on to the real deal. I have never been so sick of studying in my whole nursing student career.

If anyone has any last minute tips, that would be greatly appreciated!!

Congratulations..which study guide you used? The 35 pages study guide?

Yes.. went through it and added my own little side notes as needed

Pray, pray, pray. When are you taking your exam?

This might help Prayers to St. Joseph of Cupertino.

Good luck!
