Second degree programs

I already have a degree in biology but I am looking into nursing school. I am very interested in a second degree online program. I am very curious as to how likely acceptance is when my pre-reqs aren't from that university.

First, are you aware that for any prelicensure program you will need to attend clinicals in person? There is no 100% online nursing program for those seeking initial education and licensure.

If you have questions about acceptance of prereqs, those questions should be directed to someone at the school(s) you are considering as each school will have different policies on transfer credits.

Thank you. Yes. I am aware of clinicals. I am also aware of the prerequisites of the programs I am interested in. I am just wondering how difficult it is to be accepted or how competitive I would be with transfer credits. I am aware of the fact that higher consideration goes to students with prerequisites from "the" university. I was just hoping to hear from students/BSNs who are/have attended online second degree programs... If any were admitted with prereqs from a different university...particularly the science prereqs.
