Second Ati predictor

Hello fellow students and nurses i need help please, i wrote my first Ati which was the 2011 version and had a 91% of passing the boards the first time. In two weeks i will be writing the second predictor which i believe will be the 2014 version. I am so nervous so can someone please who has been through it give me some advise and as to what to study. My school didnt use ATI so i dont have the ATI books please help

If you passed the first it's highly likely you will pass the second. How did you prepare for the first?

I did questions from saunders and i did kaplan strategies 2014-2015 the book and questions from incredibly easy Q&A plus

My school provided us with ATI throughout our 1 year LVN program. I always got level 2 (which is passing) on the exams, even though I didn't even use the 10+ ATI books they gave us. For the predictor, once again, I didn't study with the ATI books. Whatever I knew, I knew, and I got a 93% chance of passing NCLEX on my first attempt. When I took another ATI predictor 2 months later, my pass rate went down to 91% after studying with Virtual ATI, NCSBN, Kaplan book, Saunders book & the NCLEX Mastery all on my iPhone. Thankfully I passed the NCLEX with the minimum 85Q.

hello alleyzonree . do you mind emailing me ? I am preparing for nclex and I just wanted to ask questions .

hello jaelselita! i hope this isn't reaching you too late, but i thought i'd leave a comment since when i was in school, we also had to take the ATI comprehensive predictor and back then i wished i had someone to ask how to study for it. anyway, when i took my predictor at school, to be completely honest i did not prepare for it because i had my ATI pediatrics test the day before. however, i did review for my ATI peds. i just made sure i knew my lab values, and i did as many and as much of the comprehensive predictor practices that i could within that very slim time frame i had to prepare (which was about maybe 10 hours, LOL) since like i said i had the ATI peds the day before and a full day of class. i was completely shocked to have gotten a 99% of passing. so i say know lab values, infection control, and do NOT change your answers unless you're absolutely certain the second one is correct. and please, please have confidence in yourself! oftentimes we do not give credit where credit is due. YOU WILL PASS!

Thanks for the reply but I took the second predictor already and had a 97% of passing. Now I applied to the board and its a waiting game now. Am still nervous about the boards though

I should've paid attention to where you said in 2 weeks. LOL congratulations though for passing the comprehensive! About the boards, I'm waiting also, I graduated October 4th and still waiting for my eligibility notice. What about you? And what materials are you using to study?

I just finished on the 20th of October, I use the Nclex Mastery app, I am done with kaplan strategies 2014-2015 and am also doing Exam cram and Incredibly easy. I do a couple of Saunders questions here and there
