Scope of Practice Question

I was asked this question during an interview: "How would you deal with someone you observed working outside of his or her scope of practice?" I'm curious how others would answer this question. What would you say?

I'd reply as such:

To me, scope of practice is a serious issue as it brings up both patient safety and legal issues. I would feel the need to report such actions to my supervisor if I saw an individual acting outside of their scope of practice.

But that's just me. Good question to ask for an interview.

I like the answer above and I would only add this to it: I would intervene directly with the person immediately if I thought patient safety was being compromised.

RiskManager, definitely a needed addition, and excellent at that.
