hello there I have a question regarding accredited schools for nursing I am looking at northwestern business college in bridgeview but I definitely want to make sure that they are nationally accredited how do I go about finding all the necessary info out? and one more question chamberlain has an online program how far can you actually go into a nursing program online/

    Your state Board of Nursing will have a listing of all accredited schools. Many of them also provide information about NCLEX pass rates (high rates are a direct indicator of the quality of the program).

    There is no such thing as a 100% online pre-licensure program. If you think about it a while, you will realize that it just is not possible. How in the world can you learn to perform physical tasks and provide patient care if your only preparation is online?? All programs have to include clinical 'practicum' training that you have to do in skills labs and actual patient care environments.
