Published

Hi..ive been looking to become an LPN and was wondering about the schools in ohio. I thought about central ohio technical college-newark but I know theres other schools as well. Can someone tell me what schools you went to around the columbus, ohio area that were good schools-accredited, reasonable price of tuition, etc.

Thank you.

Hi! I am actually looking into Hondros College School of Nursing. They have no waiting list because they admit 4 times a year, Jan, Apr, July, & Oct. They are currently enrolling for Oct & you don't have to have pre req's done before you go, there included in the curriculum! You will have to take the Hesi entrance exam which consist of math, reading, vocab, & grammar. Look on there website, I;m sure you will find it interesting! Let me know what you think! Good Luck!!

Thank you very much. I was right now looking at COTC-central ohio technical college in newark but thats like 30-40 minutes away from me. I live in the reynoldsburg area. i see hondros is closer and in westerville. it wont be as long as a commute. classes dont start at cotc until march. id like to start sooner. january seems cool. I think it might be too late for me to sign up for october..considering i need to apply for financial aide.

There is still time to go for Oct, there financial aid cutoff date is Sept 1! If your seriously thinking about it, I would schedule to go to a info session which is held on tues @ 6 & fri @ 2. It is defiantly a program worth looking into! Good Luck & keep me posted!!!
