I was wondering what some good schools are around me to go to for nursing? I have a GI Bill that helps me pay for my college, as well so thats good

So any suggestions would be apprecciated

I am a student at JCC Tech school in Louisville. Nursing is a second degree for me. I chose that since I have to pay for this degree myself. The tech/community schools are less expensive than the university. There were alot of programs to evaluate and choose from when I was making the decision to enter nursing. Good luck with your decision. :lol2:

Wow- you're 19 and already have the GI bill?

I guess it depends on what degree you want. I'd say since you have the GI bill, getting your ASN or BSN would be the best option for you. U of K has a BSN program, and Bluegrass Comm. & Tech College has an ASN program. That should get you started. Go to their websites and request information to help you decide where you want to go.

I'm going to Eastern Kentucky University in Richmond,

and it's in the associate degree department.

they have the 2 and 4 year degrees there.

:w00t:My best advice is to shop around. This is a big step and make sure the school feels right and that staff treats you good. Check out parking and class sizes. Get the most bang for your buck! Good Luck to Ya!

Midway is a great school and they have a night program for men. It is expensive, but very good.
