SCC ADN Fall 2020

Hello!

Haven't seen a thread for Sac City's Fall 2020/Spring 2021 nursing application yet and thought I should create one. Good luck everyone! ?

I just turned in my packed today too. Good luck all.

Turned mine in today! I feel like I looked at my packet 15 times to make sure I got it all right lol

Hello all!! I turned my app in today. Hopefully the lottery yields favorable results!! Good luck!!

Hey Everyone- quick question. The paperwork said to write your number down on your packet. My girl took my packet and as far as I know didn’t write my number on it. I had asked her to and she said no it’s not needed. She said I could write the number down for my own reference if I wanted. Anyone else do this?

Help! This is my first time reapplying to Sac City. The department hasn’t responded to me yet inquiring about this. What do you do if you’re reapplying?

As in, do you still supply all supporting documents again? Or is it just the basic required documents (criteria list, check list, gpa calc, etc). One criteria has changed since last year, and I’ve an official transcript to account for the change. If I have to supply all documents again, what about already submitted official transcripts? Last year I submitted course equivalency approvals reviewed and signed a counselor, and I don’t have those documents as I submitted the actual signed files. I wonder if I’d have to see a counselor again? Sorry for all the questions! I’m just so unsure and don’t want to make a mistake haha. ARC is very straight forward with reapplications (no supporting documents needed), so I haven’t had a problem with their application. Thanks!

Edit: Literally right after I posted this, I finally get an email back. Looks like you apply as though a new applicant every time. Guess it’s back to see a counselor again!

glad it worked out! Mine says accepted so the nursing program has my materials!

Awesome. I too had the same experience yesterday. When i logged in to eservices my app status was changed today to application received. I wonder if this means that Scc will actually update the status this term. I read past posts that they don't always update app status.

I’m hoping they do! Ya I read the previous posts to see what to expect. PRAYING that I get into a program! This is my first application cycle so we will see!

This is my first time as well. Praying that I am favored as well!

Turns out I was mixed up with ARC, so I didn’t need to see a counselor again for my courses, so I was able to turn in my LRC apps today! I was number 14 for SCC and number 25 for ARC. Praying I get in this time, it’ll be my 6th and 7th nursing applications, 2nd time for SCC, and 3rd for ARC. Also submitting to Sierra for the first time once I hit the 200 minimum volunteer hours. Sending support to everybody as we go through the waiting game again!

That’s great!

Last year they kept everyone’s status updated throughout the process! My SCC status also says received, although it updated to that this morning before I turned in the entire application, which is odd.
