In Florida does the BON have legal authority to deny licensure for applicants with bipolar affective disorder; especially since I had a suicide attempt >10 years ago (required an operation). If a treating psychiatrist were to write a letter attesting to stable mental health, being medicated -- along with a medical physicians' approval -- would licensure even be possible?

Considering a move from SC to FL.
